Dr Dina Abdellatif is a Senior Consultant of Internal Medicine and Nephrology, Cairo University. She graduated from Cairo University school of medicine in 1995 and started nephrology career in 1999. She finished a Fellowship, International Society of Nephrology (ISN), Feb 2010 – August 2011. Spent 18 months at the Sheffield Kidney Institute, Sheffield UK. Main interest was peritoneal dialysis and home dialysis. She has great interest in the field of public awareness and promoting screening and early detection of kidney disease. Has been the moderator of World Kidney Day in Egypt since 2007 till present. Participated in many public awareness and screening programs all over Egypt. She is currently a member of the world kidney day IFKF-WKA/ISN joint steering committee. With actively participating in all related activities such as scientific editorial, speaker/chairperson in the world congress of nephrology sessions, speaker in webinars/podcasts etc. She is the Secretary-General of the International Federation of Kidney Foundations – World Kidney Alliance (IFKF/WKA). Also, she has been a Council Member, Mediterranean Kidney Society (MKS) since October 2022 till present. She actively participated in the organizing committee of several congresses and has been invited as guest speaker in many local and international congresses. She has several publications in many international journals and has been a reviewer in number of international Journals.
