She graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1991, and completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology fellowship at the same faculty until 2001. She is a former ISN fellow, currently working at Bezmialem Vakif University School of Medicine Division Nephrology. Prof. Kazancıoğlu has published many national and international articles, books and book chapters. Her main interests are in PD, disaster nephrology, CKD and ESKD.
