Augusto CesarSoares dos Santos Junior
Dr Augusto Cesar Santos Jr is a Prof of medicine at Faculdade Ciencias Médicas and a clinical nephrologist at Hospital das Clinicas UFMG, Brazil. In 2010, received the Clinical Research Scholar Award from the Harvard Medical School. In 2014, was a guest researcher at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research and the National Institute of Health (NIDDK, Bethesda, USA). In 2016, received his PhD degree in Health Sciences. In 2019, was awarded the Building Capacity Bursaries by the Nuffield Department of Primary Care, Univ of Oxford. In 2021, received the ISN Mentorship Award. In 2022 received the Ambassador Shield for contributions to educational programs in Africa and was awarded the Imperial Scholarship (MBA Imperial College London). Is the current Chair of the ISN Education Social Media initiative and a member of the ISN Latin-America Regional Board.
