Dietitian and Nutritionist, PhD and Associate Professor in Nutrition at Karolinska Institute, Sweden. Her research focuses mainly on nutritional screening and assessment and on how nutrition interventions using food and nutrients can improve the clinical condition of patients with CKD. She coordinates she research line “Food as medicine in CKD” at the Division of Nephrology Baxter Novum, Karolinska Institute where Peter Stenvinkel is the research leader. Carla is passionate about eating well, local and healthy food and a big supporter of plant-based diets.
