Daniele Trevisanuto is Associate Professor at the University of Padova, Italy, past-president of the Veneto Region Italian Society of Neonatology. Professor Trevisanuto is the director of the joint master on “Pediatric and neonatal emergencies” between the University of Padua (Italy), University Eduardo Mondlane (Mozambique) and Catholic University of Mozambique (Mozambique. From 2012 to 2015 he was the Secretary of the Study Group on Neonatal Resuscitation, Italian Society of Neonatology. He is a member of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation– Neonatal Resuscitation Task Force and a member of the European Resuscitation Council, Task Force Neonatal Resuscitation. His research focuses on the following topics: neonatal resuscitation, education, maternal and neonatal care in low-resource countries, neonatal airway management, neonatal transport. He is the author or co-author of about 340 peer-reviewed articles (PubMed) and has published 6 chapters in neonatology books. He is the co-inventor of a supraglottic airway device for drug delivery.
