Rafaela Siviero Caron-Lienert
Rafaela Caron-Lienert, RD, PhD, Associate Professor at the School of Health and Life Sciences within the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil. Dr. Caron-Lienert is a Registered Dietitian and a Nephrology researcher with a focus on renal nutrition. In 2015, she was awarded a Fellowship at the International Renal Research Institute of Vicenza, Italy, as part of her PhD. Currently serving as a Associate Professor at the School of Health and Life Sciences within the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil, Dr. Caron-Lienert plays a pivotal role as an education agent in training the next generation of healthcare professionals. With a 16-year history of working with renal patients, the primary focus of her work is to provide patient-centered and humanized nutritional care, aiming to enhance the quality of life for individuals with renal disease through dietary interventions.
