INITIATIVES Started ‘Short Course in Peritoneal Dialysis’ in January 2020 in collaboration with departments of CNE, CON and Nephrology- The course is endorsed by International Society of Nephrology, Indian Society of Nephrology and Peritoneal Dialysis Society of IndiarStarted a structured Clinical Competency Training module for Nurses on Hemodialysis (2014) Permanent Data Management System for Hemodialysis Patients (2015), Established expanded roles for Nurses as Hemodialysis Nurse Educator, Vascular Access Nurse Specialist, Renal transplant Nurse Coordinator, Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse Educator and CKD Nurse Educator (2016 to 2020), Advanced Simulation Lab for College of Nursing – received a project grant from ASHA.
