I am graduated in Medicine in Botucatu School of Medicine , University of Sao Paulo State, Unesp (2000), Masters degree in 2005 and Doctorate in 2007. My area of ​​knowledge in Nephrology is AKI and PD. I am Ranked among the most influential scientists in the world, based on the citations of my scientific articles in 2021 and 2023 (Stanford University/Elsevier Publisher). I have published 168 articles in important selective policy journals, in addition to 4 books, 22 book chapters, including one chapter of Handbook of Dialysis (Daugirdas) and UptoDate, 207 studies presented at scientific events. Regarding academic training, I have supervised/co-supervised more than 70 students (IC, Masters, Doctorate, Post-doc and supervision of internships for students from abroad). I am currently Associate Professor and nephrologist in Botucatu School of Medicine - UNESP, medical responsible for the dialysis unit at Clinical Hospital, vice-coordinator of the Health Technology Assessment Center at HC-FMB, Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Clinical Pathophysiology from Botucatu School of Medicine - UNESP
