Dr. Pecoits-Filho is a Distinguished Research Scientist at Arbor Research Collaborative for Health in Michigan, USA and a Professor of Medicine, Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná in Curitiba, Brazil. He is the current Deputy Chair of the International Society of Nephrology iNET-CKD. Dr. Pecoits-Filho is the Scientific Director of the DOPPS Program, a multinational study on practice patterns and outcomes in chronic kidney disease, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis and act as a Scientific Leader for clinical trials in the Americas with George Clinical. Dr. Pecoits-Filho served as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) (2017-2019), the SONG Initiative (2017-present) and KDIGO (2016-2018).
