Mohamed Ben Hmida (orcid.org/0000-0002-0997-6136) is Professor of nephrology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sfax and Head of the Department of nephrology at the Hédi Chaker University Hospital of Sfax, Tunisia. He has developed his expertise in clinical nephrology and clinical pharmacology, kidney transplantation, and renal pathology. On the Tunisian side, he was responsible for the ISN sistering program between Sfax and the Sheffield Kidney Institute (SKI) in the United Kingdom. He is the author and co-author of several book chapters and over a hundred articles in impacted journals. In addition to his academic, clinical, and research activities, he takes on the role of Environment Scholar Activist to defend and promote green nephrology for a greener tomorrow.
