Session Description:
This session is designed to provide participants with a review of aldosterone physiology and pathophysiology, an understanding of how to block aldosterone deleterious effects and an introduction to latest therapies in this area.
Learning Objectives:
Identify key elements of aldosterone action in health and disease. Review information on the beneficial effects of aldosterone receptor blockage. Examine critically new aspects of aldosterone synthese blockade.
