MichalRosen-Zvi
Prof. Michal Rosen-Zvi is Director of Technologies for Accelerated Drug Discovery at IBM Research and a Computational Medicine adjunct professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem Israel. In her global role at IBM Research, Michal co-leads the research strategy of a worldwide team who are experts in quantum computing and AI technologies applied to therapeutic molecules and related data. Michal holds a PhD in computational physics from Bar Ilan University and completed her postdoctoral studies at UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, and at the Hebrew University in the area of Machine Learning. She joined IBM Research in 2005 and has since led various projects in the area of machine learning and healthcare/life sciences. Michal has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and served on the program committees in conferences such as AAAI, ICML and UAI and is a reviewer for journals such as iScience, Machine Learning and Nature as well as serving as editor in PlosOne and scientific advisor of iScience. She was also elected to the managing committee of the Israeli Society for HealthTech and is responsible for the organization’s education in computational medicine studies.
