Sumit Mohan, MD, MPH is a professor of medicine & epidemiology and medical director of the kidney transplant program at Columbia University(New York). Dr. Mohan’s clinical and research career has focused on efforts to lower health disparities and improve outcomes for patients with kidney disease, including improving access to transplantation and organ utilization. He has received awards from the National Kidney Foundation, the American Society of Transplantation and the American Society of Nephrology for his research related to kidney transplantation and contributions to public policy. He is also the Deputy Editor for Kidney International Reports
