Looking into the Crystal Ball – Where Will We Be 5 Years from Now?

Session description: Recent years have seen rapid progress in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases. New therapies have been approved or are in clinical trials for various glomerular diseases and CKD. New non-invasive molecular tools are being validated for the diagnosis of kidney allograft dysfunction. Finally, re-orientation of dialysis treatment to incorporate patient preferences has gathered momentum. This session will do crystal ball gazing and forecast diagnostic and treatment scenarios for kidney diseases.
Learning objectives:
At the end of the session, the attendees will be able to understand: The rapid evolution of Glomerular Disease Diagnosis and Treatment using modern tools, and how will tools for evaluation of Kidney Allograft Dysfunction evolve using non-invasive tools.
