Dr. Aoun Bahous is a Professor of Medicine and Dean of the Lebanese American University School of Medicine in Lebanon. Practicing nephrologist, Dr. Aoun Bahous is holder of a PhD degree in Cardiovascular Pharmacology from Pierre and Marie Curie University in France, in addition to a Masters in Health Professions Education (MHPE) from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her clinical practice and research work focus on hypertension, arterial stiffness, cardiovascular risk, chronic kidney disease, and medical education.
