Dr. Zuniga is a nephrologist, founder and Director of the first National Multidisciplinary Kidney Clinic and the Telenephrology Strategy of the Ministry of Health for advanced CKD patients in Chile. He was President of the Chilean Society of Nephrology and is currently Director of the Renal Palliative Care Committee of the LA Society of Nephrology (SLANH), and active member of the ISN LA Regional Board and the ISN CKM Working Group. He is Professor of Medicine and Nephrology at Concepcion University and Catholic University Ssma, Concepción, Chile.
