GregorioObrador Vera
Gregorio T. Obrador, MD, MPH, is Dean and Professor of Medicine at the Universidad Panamericana Faculty of Health Sciences and School of Medicine in Mexico City. He also has an appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. A graduate from the University of Navarra, Spain, did his nephrology fellowship at Boston University, a clinical research fellowship at the Tufts-New England Medical Center, and a Master of Public Health at Harvard University. Currently, Dr. Obrador is the Regional Coordinator for the ISN’s Clinical Research Program and external Expert Panel Consultant for the USRDS. He was President of the Mexican Board of Nephrology and the Mexican Kidney Foundation. Dr. Obrador has served in the KDIGO Executive Committee and the ASCEND Program Steering Committee and received the NKF’s International Distinguished Medal in 2009. He is a level 3 member of the Mexican Researchers System.
