ArvydasLaurinavicius
Arvydas Laurinavičius, MD, PhD, is Pathology Professor at Vilnius University and serves as the Director of the National Center of Pathology, branch of Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos. He earned his medical degree from Vilnius University in 1987, completed his PhD program at the Moscow Medical Academy from 1989 to 1992. He accomplished the ISN-sponsored Fellowship in Renal Pathology mentored by Prof. Helmut Rennke at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School from 1996 to 1997. He provides renal pathology service for nephrology units in Lithuania, Latvia, and Kyrgyzstan. His research team focuses on computational tissue pathology.
