I am board certified specialist in internal medicine, nephrology, clinical transplantation, hypertension and diabetology. In 1995 I received Ph.D. at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, Japan. Head of Department of Nephrology, Dialysis and Internal Medicine, Warsaw Medical University from December 2018. My clinical training was performed in France, Germany, UK, Israel. Member of EDRA-EDTA Executive Council (2015-2018). Member of the Executive Council of KDIGO (2019-2022). Member of Ceartal Eastern Europe -Vice Chair, ISN (2023-2025). My major research interest are: hypertension, cardiovascular complications in CKD, iron metabolism and anemia, onconephrology, AKI. I am author and co-author of over 800 original papers in peer-reviewed journals, (IF~1600, citations >9000 and h-index-50).
