Sanjay D’Cruz MD, DNB, MNAMS, FISN, FRCP (London) Professor & Head General Medicine and Head Division of Nephrology at Government Medical College Hospital Chandigarh India. He received his postgraduate training in medicine and nephrology training at the prestigious PGIMER Chandigarh India. He was awarded scholarship by international society of nephrology in 1997. He was appointed as a faculty at Department of medicine, GMCH Chandigarh and gradually ascended to the position of Professor & Head of Medicine. He is credited to have established renal unit at GMCH Chandigarh His area of interest includes Glomerular diseases, Lupus erythematosus, Systemic vasculitis and pharmacovigilance. He has trained PhD fellows and several postgraduate fellows. His previous academic commitments include visiting professor at Xianxi Chinese Medical University, Nanchang. He has held executive positions in national and international bodies including Asia Pacific Society of Nephrology (Councillor), Indian Society of Nephrology (Executive member) and currently President North zone Indian society of nephrology He has published over 150 papers in peer-reviewed international and national medical journals and has also served on editorial board of journals.
