GerardoGamba
Born in Mexico City in 1961, Gerardo Gamba received the MD and PhD degrees from the National University of Mexico. After the Internal Medicine and Nephrology residencies in Mexico at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán (INCMNSZ) he was appointed Fellow in Medicine at the Renal Division of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School from 1990 to 1993, under the training of Steven C. Hebert and Barry M Brenner. Since he return to Mexico he has been a Physician Scientist doing research and clinical medicine at the INCMNSZ and the National University of Mexico.
