Ahad Qayyum Pakistan
Dr. Qayyum is a Consultant Nephrologist and Medical Director at the Bahria Town International Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan. He has a special interest in developing peritoneal dialysis and transplant programs in the developing world and has published extensively in this area.
He is a recognized Kidney Scholar by the Kidney Research UK group and serves as Deputy Chair of International Liaison Committee of the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis as well as the Deputy Chair of the Educational Ambassador Program of the International Society of Nephrology. In addition, he is Pakistan’s representative member to the South Asian Regional Board of the ISN and co-founded the PD Academy of Pakistan. He is currently working on sustainable dialysis policies for water stressed countries like Pakistan.
