Dr Yannick Nlandu is a nephrologist graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He completed a training in nephrology as an ISN Fellow at the Ambroise Paré Hospital, France, and holds a Certificate in Lung Ultrasound for LUST Trial, an ERA-EDTA research project, a Certificate in Intensive Care Nephrology, Sorbonne University (France) and an ISN GKHA Fellow Certificate. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Kinshasa and Head of the Haemodialysis Unit at the University Hospital of Kinshasa. His areas of interest include infections and kidney diseases, acute haemodialysis and interventional nephrology. He is a member of the ISN YNC, the ISN African Regional Board, Chair of the AFRAN YNC and Secretary of the Congolese Society of Nephrology. He has published more than 50 national and international papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and is a reviewer for many nephrology journals.
