Dr. Bianca Davidson did her undergraduate medical training at University of Cape Town, graduating with first class honours in 2005. She did her postgraduate specialist training at Groote Schuur Hospital/University of Cape Town. She graduated as a Fellow of College of Physician in 2013. She completed her sub-specialty training in nephrology in 2017. Dr. Davidson has a keen interest in Glomerulonephritis, pregnancy related kidney pathology and adolescent care. She founded the first Adolescent Nephrology service in South Africa, in 2015. In 2019, she started the post-partum kidney clinic which provides follow up care to women after pre-eclampsia. Dr. Davidson is passionate about improving service delivery and advocacy of patient rights, in the state sector, and has dedicated her research efforts to the evaluation of local services in order to provide insights how outcomes can be improved upon.
