Amar Bansal attended medical school at NYU School of Medicine and then completed training in internal medicine, nephrology, and palliative medicine all at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been a clinician educator at the University of Pittsburgh since 2017 where he is clinically active in both nephrology and palliative care. He is the Associate Program Director for the nephrology fellowship and the Director of Quality and Metrics for the Palliative & Supportive Care Institute. His clinical interests are in medical management without dialysis, polycystic kidney disease, IgA nephropathy, and ANCA associated vasculitis.
