Session description:
This session will discuss  how to have discussions around CKM, taking into account diverse cultural perspectives; a workshop will be conducted focused on communication skills essential for these conversations; and challenges in implementing CKM across diverse healthcare settings will be discussed.
Learning objectives:
Understand shared decision-mkaing in the context of CKM across different clinical and cultural settings. Understand the key communication skills required for decision making around CKM. Understand what is required to develop, implement and sustain CKM programs across high and low resource settings.
