Kornchanok Vareesangthip is currently an Associate Professor in Nephrology and a Consultant Renal Physician at the Renal Division, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand. She achieved her Board of Nephrology from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, and also the Clinical Research Fellowship at Royal Free Hospital, University College London, United Kingdom. She has many national and international positions, she is a member of the Young Nephrologist Committee, The Asia-Pacific Society Nephrology, serving as the chair in the previous term. Currently, she is a member of the Young Nephrologist Committee if the International Society of Nephrology and also the Chair of the YNC-WCN25 subcommittee. Dr. Vareesangthip has special interests in Autosomal dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease and she is currently one of the founder of the Thai ADPKD registry clinic at Siriraj Hospital. Her other interests are acute kidney injury, end-stage kidney disease, renal replacement therapy and hemodialysis.
