KateBramham
Dr Kate Bramham is passionate about addressing health inequalities and is committed to changing the trajectory of kidney disease and cardiovascular health, particularly in Black communities, for women and those with mental health difficulties. She has authored >150 original manuscripts and book chapters on renal disease, ethnicity and pregnancy and has contributed to national and international guidelines. Her work focuses on improving the detection and prevention of early kidney disease through community-led, point-of-care, and digital inclusion approaches, and developing novel treatments to protect kidney function in people of African ancestry and during pregnancy. She is the Chief Investigator for several multi-centre NIHR, UKRI and charity funded studies and holds >£12m grant funding addressing health inequalities in the UK and Africa.
