Selvin Sundar Raj is a consultant Nephrologist, working as Associate Professor at Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. His research interests include glomerular diseases especially IgA nephropathy and Obstetric Nephrology. He is the Co-Principal Investigator for the Randomised Embedded Adaptive Platform Clinical Trial in South Asian IgA Nephropathy, funded by the India Alliance which is the first platform trial in glomerular diseases. He is involved in other projects, including the gut microbiome in IgA nephropathy, as a site co-investigator in multi-centre clinical trials on IgA nephropathy, and in prospective observational studies on bone health among kidney transplant recipients. He is also a trainer in the International Society of Nephrology’s “Train the Trainer” program, 2nd cohort, focusing on pregnancy with kidney diseases.
