Professor Chow is the Foundation Chair of the South Western Sydney Nursing and Midwifery Research Alliance and Director of ribT (Robotics and Innovation in Bio‑sensing and Technology) at South Western Sydney Local Health District and Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research. A renal nurse by background, her career is defined by innovation and global leadership, including chairing the ISPD Standards and Guidelines Committee (since 2024), Chair of the ISPD Nursing and Allied Health Professional Committee (2022-2024). and founding The HOME Network, an Australasian initiative promoting home dialysis as a choice for patients. She is Co‑Principal Investigator of the global TEACH‑PD Trial and has secured major national and international research funding. Her achievements include the NSW Health Staff Member of the Year (2023), the Australian Health Minister’s Nursing Trailblazer Award (2022), and a Churchill Fellowship (2012). She holds multiple university affiliations, has held senior NSW Health leadership roles, supervises more than 30 research students, and is a widely published and sought‑after national and international keynote speaker.
