Dr. Clara Bohm is an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba and Nephrologist in Kidney Health Manitoba. She attained her medical degree at McMaster University and trained in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the University of Saskatchewan and Dalhousie University in Halifax. Along the way she also received a Masters of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is the Medical Lead of the Kidney Health Manitoba Exercise Program, a founding Organizing Committee member of the Global Renal Exercise Network (GREX) and is also a member of the Can-SOLVE CKD Research Network. Dr. Bohm’s research focuses on characterizing the effects of exercise and physical activity on functional status, quality of life, and adverse outcomes in individuals with all stages of chronic kidney disease and improving patient-centred care in hemodialysis.
