Anurag Singh Canada

Dr. Anurag Singh, MBBS, PhD, FRCPC, is a nephrologist with Northern Health in Prince George, British Columbia, and an Assistant Professor in the Division of Nephrology at the University of British Columbia, with an affiliate appointment at the University of Northern British Columbia. He serves as Medical Director of Kidney Services for Northern Health and as the inaugural Director of the Northern Centre for Clinical Research. Dr. Singh completed his medical training in India and postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the University of Bristol, UK, where he also earned a PhD.  His clinical work spans the full spectrum of kidney care, including chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and transplantation. His research focuses on advancing health equity through the implementation of digitally enabled and hybrid care models for rural, remote, and Indigenous communities, with an emphasis on access, capacity building, and culturally safe care.
