This session explores the transformative role of advocacy in enhancing kidney care by mobilizing communities, pushing for policy reforms, and educating the public about kidney disease. Key strategies include patient empowerment, grassroots campaigns, and partnerships with healthcare organizations to drive systemic change. Success stories highlight how these efforts have led to increased awareness, better access to treatments, and improved patient support systems, showcasing the positive impact on those affected by kidney disease. The session also focuses on equipping participants with the tools and knowledge to effectively advocate for government action on chronic kidney disease. Attendees will learn to present evidence-based arguments, emphasize economic benefits, and highlight the importance of early detection. Additionally, the session addresses disparities in pediatric kidney care, emphasizing the need to overcome social and economic barriers to ensure equitable access for vulnerable children. Finally, the session will equip participants with strategies to promote global access to kidney transplantation, including building advocacy campaigns, collaborating with international organizations, and influencing policy changes. By the end, attendees will be prepared to drive meaningful change in kidney care on both local and global scales
