Dr. Kazi Shahnoor Alam Professor of Nephrology National Institute of Kidney Diseases and Urology, Dhaka, Bangladesh Prof. (Dr.) Shahnoor obtained his MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka in 1995. With brilliant academic results he joined Govt. health service in 1997.He received extensive training on internal medicine and became a fellow (FCPS) of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2004. In 2006 he obtained MD in Nephrology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He has keen interest in Clinical Nephrology and Peritoneal Dialysis. He received “Asian Young Nephrologist Award” from Japan. A number of his research papers have been published in national and international journals. Prof. (Dr.) Shahnoor is a fellow of ISPD (Hong Kong), ISN and ASN. He is member of Bangladesh Renal Association and Indian Society of Nephrology. Currently he is working as Professor of Nephrology in National Institute of Kidney Diseases and Urology.
