Dr. Vanita Jassal is a Staff Nephrologist at the University Health Network and Professor at the University of Toronto. She has training in clinical nephrology, geriatric medicine, and clinical epidemiology. Vanita has an active interest all aspects of care of seniors with kidney disease and in palliative kidney care. She has been involved in numerous international groups over her career including the ASN Geriatric Nephrology Advisory Group, the ISPD group on Elder Care, and the DOPPS initiative on Elder care and published widely in the area.
