Session Description: 
This session explores accelerated aging in the kidneys, brain, and body as a whole. We will discuss how kidney disease contributes to a geriatric syndrome and cognitive impairment. We will discuss the drivers of accelerated kidney aging and potential therapeutic strategies to mitigate age-related decline. 
Learning Objectives: 
1. Define normal and accelerated kidney aging and identify potential biological drivers. 
2. List the impacts of kidney disease on cognitive function and neurological health.
3. Identify therapeutic interventions to mitigate accelerated biological aging in the kidneys, brain, and body as a whole.
