Chuan-Ming Hao, MD, PhD, FASN Dr. Hao obtained Medical degree (MD equivalent) from Nantong Medical College and Doctor degree (PhD equivalent) from Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University Medical School). Dr. Hao received post-doctoral training at the division of Nephrology, Vanderbilt University USA. Currently, Dr. Hao is professor of Medicine at Huashan hospital Fudan University. Dr. Hao also serves as the president of Shanghai Nephrologist Association and the past president of Chinese Society of Renal Physiology. Dr. Hao’s research interests include biology of arachidonic acid metabolites in the kidney; aging related kidney disease; diabetic nephropathy. Dr. Hao is also actively involved in clinical studies, including clinical trials in IgAN, MN, DKD and CKD anemia. Dr. Hao’s research has been supported by Natural Science Foundation of China and NIH. He published more than 190 peer reviewed papers.
