Mark Haas is professor and senior renal pathologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California USA. He is a past president of the Renal Pathology Society, and was the recipient of their Jacob Churg Award (2012) for outstanding contributions to the field of renal pathology and of their 2023 Robert H. Heptinstall Lifetime Achievement Award. An author of over 270 journal articles and book chapters, he served as a member of the program committee for the 2011 – 2019 Banff Transplant Conferences and is a member of the editorial boards of Kidney International and Histopathology. His main interests are glomerular diseases and kidney transplant pathology.
