Areas of Interest : kidney transplantation (clinical immunosuppression, ABO incompatible transplantation, paired exchange donation & cost – containment), progression of Renal Disease, Acute Kidney Injury and Glomerulonephritis. Our group has been pioneer in the world for the development of robotic kidney transplantation, a novel technique to provide advantages of minimally invasive surgery in this high risk group Has been past president of Indian Society of Nephrology Member of KDIGO transplant recipient guidelines workgroup Has been awarded fellowships of National Academy of Medical Sciences, India; Royal College of Physicians, Edinburg & Indian Society of Nephrology and orations of various scientific societies. Has published 250 papers in peer reviewed journals, 43 book chapters and edited 11 books
