Associate Professor Rachael Walker has completed her PhD at the School of Public Health, University of Sydney, with the topic of dialysis modality selection. Dr Walker has utilised mixed methods research, systematic reviews and health economics methodologies in her previous research. Dr Walker is also a clinical Nurse Practitioner whose research has led to her appointment on a number of international and national nephrology and nursing groups and committees including: The ISN Kidney Health Professional Working group, ISN Oceania Group, ISN CME committee, ISPD Nurse Liaison Committee and she is the Chair of the ISPD Scholarships and Awards Committee.
