Marianne founded the non-profit association, CompCure, after her daughter was diagnosed with IC-MPGN. The objective of CompCure is to improve outcomes in complement-mediated kidney diseases through global collaboration and amplification of the collective knowledge of clinicians, scientists, patients, industry, and other experts. A key activity of CompCure is the development of a registry together with ERKNet and several contributing partners. This initiative will drive better disease understanding and awareness to inform clinical decisions, guidelines, and to support the development and access to diagnostics and therapies. Professionally Marianne has held several executive and sr. leadership positions at various pharmaceutical companies. She now works as an independent biopharma strategy consultant. Marianne holds a M.Sc. in strategy and business administration from Copenhagen Business School, and a B.Sc. in business administration and law from Aarhus University.
