Session description:
This session will discuss important approaches and regional variations to common complications seen in topical conditions affecting the kidneys. With an emphasis on infection-related glomerulonephritis and heat stress nephropathy, these are important topics for all nephrologists working in these regions. Round table to discuss global differences, challenges and approaches to tropical diseases affecting the kidney. Presentation of YN Best Abstract Winners. 
Learning objectives:
Review approaches to tropical infections affecting the kidneys. Review the impact of global warming with  prevalence and recognition of heat stress nephropathy. Learn about the best research presented at WCN by young nephrologists. Describe regional differences in common tropical illnesses. Describe approaches to their recognition. Discuss regional differences in their management.
