Dr. Fransia Arda Mushi is a Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) and a practicing urologist. Her research primarily focuses on the end-stage renal disease (ESRD) care landscape in Tanzania, particularly examining the capacity for kidney transplantation, identifying barriers and facilitators, and evaluating the cost-effectiveness of such interventions. Dr. Mushi is also deeply involved in teaching and supervising postgraduate students while actively contributing to clinical services at Muhimbili National Hospital. Her work is pivotal in advancing urological care and ESRD treatment in low-resource settings.
