Dr. Lily Mushahar is a consultant nephrologist, Head of Department of Nephrology and Head of Clinical Research Centre Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban Negeri Sembilan. She received her medical undergraduate (MD) and post-graduate (MMed) degree at University Science Malaysia and received Nephrology fellowship training at the University of North Staffordshire Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. She is the immediate past president of Malaysian Society of Nephrology, Asia representative council for International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD), Chair of International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) membership and Chair of CME committee for Asia Pacific Society of Nephrology (APSN). She also actively involved as a committee member of the ISPD Scholarship award, trainer for ISPD fellowship, supervisor for International Society of Nephrology (ISN) Sister Renal Centre for Indonesia, and a mentor for the ISN Mentorship program for Vietnam and Indonesia. Dr. Lily’s main interest is Peritoneal Dialysis and is active in developing the PD training program for doctors and nurses in Malaysia and South East Asia especially Indonesia. She has been active as supporting center supervisor in ISN Sister Renal Centre program in Indonesia and mentor in ISN mentorship program.
