Rukshana Shroff is a Professor of Paediatric Nephrology at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Institute of Child Health, London. Her research focuses on bone and cardiovascular disease in childhood CKD, focusing on improving outcomes for children on dialysis. Professor Shroff is co-editor for the 8th edition of Pediatric Nephrology, the definitive textbook in our field. She has served as a member of the Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) Executive Committee and works on international guideline committees for KDIGO, NICE and ESPN. She serves on the editorial board of several journals and has published over 300 original articles, reviews and editorials. She was the Scientific Chair for the annual ESPN Congress in 2023, is Theme-Chair for this WCN congress, and will co-chair the IPNA Congress in 2025. She chairs the ISN Sister Renal Centre program.
