Rukshana Shroff is a Professor of Paediatric Nephrology at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Institute of Child Health, London. Her research focuses on bone and cardiovascular disease in childhood CKD, focusing on improving outcomes for children on dialysis. Professor Shroff is President-elect of the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA). She has served as a member of the Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) Executive Committee and works on international guideline committees for KDIGO, NICE and ESPN. She is co-editor for the 8th edition of Pediatric Nephrology, the definitive textbook in our field. She serves on the editorial board of several journals and has published over 350 original articles, reviews and editorials. She was the Scientific Chair for the annual ESPN Congress in 2023, is Theme-Chair for this WCN congress, and will chair the IPNA Congress in Feb 2025. She chairs the ISN Sister Renal Centre program.
