I am a consultant nephrologist at Barts Health in London. My passion and focus is about identifying and reducing inequalities in kidney care. I have been the joint lead author on the 2019 and 2024 Kidney Research UK Health Inequalities report which describes the nature and basis of inequalities in kidney care in the UK as well as providing research recommendations to the UK kidney comminute to identify and reduce these inequalities. I am fortunate to have had a global clinical career, working in the Northern Territory of Australia, Uganda and Malawi in substantive roles.
