Michelle O'Shaughnessy, MB BCh BAO MS MD, is a Consultant Nephrologist at University Hospital Galway and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Galway, Ireland. She was a theme chair for the "Interconnected Kidney" programme for WCN '26. She has a subspecialist interest in glomerular diseases, with over 70 peer-reviewed publications on glomerular disease themes. She is PI for the PRO-GD (Patients Reported Outcomes in Glomerular Disease) study, which she will speak about at this meeting, and is site PI for glomerular disease clinical trials at University Hospital Galway.
