Dr. Arunkumar Subbiah is an Associate Professor of Nephrology at AIIMS, New Delhi, India, an ISN-ANIO Indukaka Ipcowala Advanced Scholar in Renal Transplantation, and a Fellow of the International Society of Nephrology (FISN). His research focuses on lupus nephritis, transplant infectious diseases, and acute kidney injury (AKI), with a particular interest in improving outcomes in these areas through innovative approaches and international collaboration. Dr. Subbiah is an editorial fellow for Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation (NDT) and Assistant Editor for Indian Journal of Transplantation (IJOT). He is the Indian National Representative for the ERA-Young Nephrologists’ Platform (ERA-YNP), a member of the Youth Committee of the Indian Society of Nephrology, and a member of the ERA Social Media (SoMe) Board. An alumnus of the Nephrology Social Media Collective (NSMC) internship, Dr. Subbiah has served as a Social Media Ambassador for major nephrology conferences, including WCN, ERA and ISOT. He is committed to advancing nephrology education and fostering global connections within the field.
