Winston Wing ShingFung
Winston is currently an associate consultant in Prince of Wales Hospital and an honorary clinical associate professor for Chinese University of Hong Kong. He graduated from University of Cambridge and he went on to complete his Nephrology training in Hong Kong with academic excellence including FRCP (Lond) from the Royal College of Physicians and as a first fellow in Genetics and Genomics from the Hong Kong College of Physicians. He has published more than 150 peers-reviewed articles and has won many research grants.He has also received numerous Exemplary Teacher Awards over the years by his university, including the Teacher of the Year Award in 2021. Internationally, he is an active member in the ISN Emerging Leader Program and is part of the ISN North East Asia Regional Board, ISN Education Working Group and the ISN Young Nephrologist Committee. He is also a member in the Education Committee of ISPD. He has been elected as an ISN-Global Kidney Health Atlas Named Fellow and a fellow of the ISN for his significant contribution to global kidney care. In pursuing his interest in sustainable kidney care, he is elected as a member in the ISN GREEN-K steering committee as well as the lead author and co-chair for the ISPD position statement for sustainable peritoneal dialysis.
