Saori Nishio Japan

Dr. Saori Nishio is the professor of the Department of Hemodialysis and Apheresis in Hokkaido University, Japan. Her main research focus is to elucidate the pathophysiology of polycystic kidney disease and to develop new therapeutic approaches.  She is also involved in the development of the Japanese clinical guidelines for ADPKD.  She is actively involved in CKD initiatives in Japan, focusing on reducing the dialysis population and improving the quality of life of individuals with CKD.
